In a forgotten village torn apart by war and poverty, Um Fatima lives with her seven children in a crumbling house—without a roof to shield them from the rain, and without walls to protect them from the cold. When the storms come, their little bodies are soaked, and when the winter nights arrive, they shiver in fear and pain.
Um Fatima is a young widow who lost her husband years ago. Since then, she has been left alone to face life’s struggles and provide for her children. She works tirelessly doing small jobs just to put food on the table, but her burdens are far greater than her strength. Every night, she looks at her children as they fall asleep under a torn piece of cloth, and with tears in her eyes, she prays for a safe home to shelter them.
Until now, she has found no support, but her hope in God and in kind-hearted people remains alive. Every donation, no matter how small, can bring warmth to a child, safety to a family, and peace to a mother’s heart.
Today, Um Fatima pleads with you—not for much, but for something simple:
A roof to cover her children, and walls to protect them from the cold and the rain.
