For the first time, The Mission to Seafarers UAE is honored to join as a charity partner for the Dubai Marathon.

Your support ensures that throughout the year, our welfare team can support thousands of seafarers visiting the UAE each year.

Each visit provided a warm welcome, friendship, and practical assistance to seafarers visiting from around the world. As part of our visitation programme, we distributed essential information to help seafarers become acquainted with the UAE. We also provided our international publication the Sea which helps seafarers stay up to date with maritime news and industry analysis, as well as introducing them to our WeCare programme – which provides mental health and wellbeing information connected to sustaining family and financial literacy.

Several of our welfare cases this year required the help of our Family Support Networks in India, the Philippines and Myanmar where our colleagues provided support to families whilst we helped the seafarers in port.
