Hello, I am Hareem and I am currently 14 years old. This Ramadan, I am starting a charity campaign because I believe hope begins with healing.
Every year in Pakistan, more than 10,000 children hear the life-altering words: “You have cancer.” For a child, that means missed school days, painful treatments, fear, and uncertainty. For many families, it also means something even more heartbreaking — they simply cannot afford the treatment their child needs.
Unfortunately, nearly 39% of Pakistan’s population lives below the poverty line. That means millions of families are already struggling to afford food, shelter, and basic needs. When a child is diagnosed with cancer, the cost of treatment becomes an almost impossible burden. Because of poverty and limited access to specialised care, fewer than one in three children are able to receive proper treatment.
Imagine being a parent who knows their child can be saved, but cannot afford the cost. No family should ever have to choose between treatment and survival.
At Indus Hospital & Health Network, no child is turned away because of cost. From chemotherapy and surgery to diagnostics, nutrition, and emotional support, every part of a child’s cancer care is provided completely free. Here, children are given more than medicine — they are given dignity, comfort, and a real chance at life.
But this mission cannot continue without compassion from people like you.
Your donation can directly fund life-saving chemotherapy sessions:
AED 100 — 1 chemotherapy session
AED 300 — 3 chemotherapy sessions
AED 500 — 5 chemotherapy sessions
AED 1,000 — 10 chemotherapy sessions
Behind every number is a child who wants to go back to school, play with friends, and dream about the future. Behind every donation is hope, strength, and a second chance at childhood.
Ramadan is a month of mercy, generosity, and blessings. Even the smallest act of charity can become someone’s miracle. Whether you sponsor one session or an entire treatment journey, your support could mean the difference between despair and recovery.
Together, we can be the lifeline every child deserves. This Ramadan, let’s turn compassion into cures and hope into healing.
