Hello, my name is Fatemeh Shahdadnejad, and I am a hardworking biology student at the American University of Sharjah (AUS). Education has always been my passion, and I’ve worked tirelessly to maintain a near-perfect GPA. Despite my achievements, my journey has been anything but easy.
I was thrilled to receive scholarships and admission to a prestigious U.S. university, but my dreams were shattered when my visa application was denied. Determined not to give up, I moved to the UAE to continue my education. However, financial struggles, family challenges, and the weight of overcoming depression have made this journey incredibly difficult.
