Shattered Dreams, Broken Livelihood I never imagined that war would turn my life upside down. As a clothing merchant, I poured my heart and soul into building my business, a store selling men's and children's clothing. It wasn't just a job; it was my dream, my passion, and my means of supporting my family.
My shop was my sanctuary, where I spent every day from 7 AM to 7 PM. It was a home and a haven for me and my family. My life was stable and filled with joy, especially when interacting with customers as they bought new clothes for their children or siblings.
But when war broke out, everything changed. The city was no longer safe. During the Israeli occupation's assault on the Shuja'iyya area, the constant sound of bombs and fear for our lives forced us to flee our home. After the occupation's ground invasion three days later, they completely destroyed and razed the market, including my store, with their tanks and bulldozers. My life was over.
When we returned, all that remained of my business was rubble. I was horrified and trembled when I saw the scene. My livelihood and my family's livelihood were destroyed. My entire future was shattered. I lost not only my store but also part of my home. I lost my identity as a human being when I saw my home and the mounting debts caused by the destruction of my store. It was not just my source of income but also my sense of purpose.
Now, I'm asking for your help. Your donation will help me [replace with specific goal, e.g., rebuild my home, support my family, etc.]. It will help me pay off the debts incurred by the occupation due to the destruction of my business. It will help my younger siblings build part of their future. It will help me build a small business to provide for my family and rebuild my home. It will also support my family and contribute to the recovery of our community.
Every dollar counts. With your support, I can rebuild my life and my business. Together, we can turn this tragedy into a story of hope and resilience
