On Saturday 18th March, our team will be taking on five epic workouts in 2.5 hours as part of the Battle Cancer Dubai Challenge at Dubai Harbour.
Casie, Chantelle, Dave and Ricky are all members of Sands Fitness Motor City and they are channelling their love of fitness into raising money to battle one of the world’s most devastating diseases.
Battle cancer aims to raise awareness through sport and fundraise for charities across the globe. Unfortunately, cancer will affect everyone in their lifetime, whether this be through personal experience or knowing someone who has been diagnosed.
In the UAE alone, cancer is the third leading cause of death with over 4500 cases diagnosed each year! Battle Cancer gives us the opportunity to fight back and really make a difference.
Our team are proud to raise money for the Al Jalila Foundation who do some incredible work across the UAE for all of those affected by cancer, including research, early detection and supporting patient families.
Every donation received will help to fund the amazing efforts of the foundation.
Battle cancer is more than just a fitness event, Battle Cancer represents community, hope and strength, so please, as we will be doing on March 18th, dig deep and help us make a difference!
