Help a Child with Severe Brain Damage Get Essential Therapy and Care
Campaign Story:
I am a mother this is the story of my little boy who has endured so much since before he was born.
At seven months pregnant, doctors discovered signs of brain swelling. At two months old, he had his first brain surgery to insert a shunt. But by six months, the device had failed, causing a dangerous build-up of fluid in his brain. His heart stopped for a few seconds. He suffered oxygen loss and brain cell damage.
Later, he began experiencing seizures and was prescribed lifelong medication. At one year old, the device failed again. He had to undergo a third surgery. By then, his condition had worsened significantly. He could no longer develop like other children.
Now, at four years old, my son still cannot walk, speak, or attend school. He has severe developmental delay, neurological damage, and requires continuous care.
