In Pakistan, many the elderly and children are forced to deal with cataracts, which make it hard for them to take care of themselves, forcing them to rely on others. Getting good healthcare can be tough, especially in the poorest areas where resources are limited.

But there's hope. With your help, Ehsaas is running free Eye Camps in these areas. At these camps, we provide important eye care services, like cataract operations, completely for free. Our goal is to give people their sight back so they can live better lives with dignity and independence.

In January, we organised eight free Eye Camps across Punjab, Balochistan, and Sindh. Through these camps, we were able to treat over 500 individuals and perform more than 200 cataract operations, restoring vision and transforming lives in underserved communities.

Your donation will provide essential resources, such as equipment and medication, allowing eye camps in Pakistan to offer more comprehensive and accessible eyecare treatments to underserved communities. Meet Farooq:

"I couldn’t even read the Quran”

For Farooq, seeing clearly was a daily struggle. Because of his cataracts, Farooq couldn’t read the Quran or enjoy simple things in life. But thanks to your donations, free eye camps by Ehsaas changed his life. Farooq had an operation that fixed his sight. Overwhelmed with gratitude, he said, "I am so thankful to Ehsaas and their donors who helped me and paid for my operation and medicines so I can see again."
