Running for the Dogs – My Half Marathon for Animals & Us
Hi everyone!
I’m Alena Fuzeeva, and I’ll be running the Burj2Burh half marathon on 8th February 2026 to raise funds for Animals & Us (https://aauf.ae/), a wonderful foundation that rescues, feeds, and rehomes dogs and other pets in need.
I’m the proud owner of a golden retriever Sophie who has filled my life with unconditional love and joy. Caring for her has opened my eyes to how many other dogs out there are still searching for the same love, care and safety — and that’s why I want to help.
Animals & Us provides:
? Foster homes for abandoned dogs
? Food and supplies for strays
? Medical treatment and rehabilitation
? Adoption support to find forever homes
My goal is to raise 10,000AED to support their amazing work. Every donation, no matter how small, helps feed, treat, and protect a dog in need.
