Dr. Soliman El Kabir is a scientist and innovation support leader. He was Assistant Professor at Arts et Métiers ParisTech. Previously, he served as an Innovation Project Manager at the French national company for technology transfer, SATT, and as a Researcher at the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA). Additionally, he held the position of Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Poitiers University and was a Lecturer of Management at the Clermont Business Administration Institute.
Dr. El Kabir obtained his Ph.D. degree in Structural Engineering from Limoges University in December 2018. He joined Limoges University and the Pascal Institute in 2014, following several industrial experiences at Alstom, Legrand, and Socomec (French multinational companies). These experiences involved various R&D projects in mechanical analysis.
El Kabir's research primarily focuses on fracture mechanics and structural fatigue phenomena for sustainable structures. He is also involved in the development of intelligent structures using Artificial Intelligence in combination with fracture mechanics. His contributions as a researcher in these fields have resulted in several advancements in fracture mechanics and structural fatigue.
Furthermore, Soliman El Kabir holds a Master's degree in Project Management and Entrepreneurship, as well as a Diploma of University Studies (DU) in research methods in management sciences. He leads research in innovation management and has a keen interest in exploring new institutional structures for knowledge dissemination, along with organizational models that engage society in technology development.
