Story
Battle Cancer with Team MSF
On Saturday 12 December 2026, teams from across the UAE will take on Battle Cancer Dubai at The Sevens Stadium: a high-energy fitness challenge for teams of four, open to all levels. This year, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) / Doctors Without Borders is proud to be one of the event’s charity partners, and we’d love for you to fight with us.
Why it matters
In Malawi, cervical cancer is the most common cancer among women, and the country has one of the highest cervical cancer death rates in the world. The most heartbreaking part is that it’s largely preventable and treatable when caught early.
MSF runs a comprehensive cervical cancer programme in Malawi, providing:
- HPV vaccination for girls
- Screening and early treatment
- Surgery and chemotherapy
- Palliative care for women in the advanced stages of the disease
For many of these women, MSF is the only place they can turn.
How you can help
- Take part: register your team for Battle Cancer, choose MSF as your charity, and create your own fundraising page under this campaign.
- Fundraise: share your page with friends, family and colleagues. The more your team raises, the more it boosts your score on the day!
- Donate: not taking part? You can still support Team MSF by donating to this campaign or to one of our fundraisers.
Every rep, every step and every dirham helps give a woman a chance at life.
