GULF FOR GOOD - BOXING FOR GOOD

In partnership with Gulf for Good and in support of the Kilimanjaro Initiative, please donate to the Spartan's Boxing for Good Campaign, which I'm participating in!

In the lead up to the Spartans White Collar Boxing event on Saturday, 9th December, 18 White Collar boxers will be training rigorously for 10 weeks for their place in the ring. Please support with your donations to raise funds for the Kilimanjaro Initiative.

CHARITY PROJECT: Kilimanjaro Initative

Kilimanjaro Initiative inspires youth to have self-belief and overcome life's challenges by organizing leadership camps and climbs to benefit the youth. One of the ways they do this is through sport; thus instigating behavioural reform, enabling positive contributions towards sustainable community development and offering opportunities for self-development. Kilimanjaro Initiative works with children between the ages of 8 and 16 and youth between the ages of 17 and 30.

Gulf for Good is supporting Kilimanjaro Initiative by promoting education, mentorship, and leadership through their sports program and an inclusive early childhood development center. This project will specifically work with children and young people, without a safe or secure place to live in areas of Nairobi Kibera, specifically targeting children and young people between the age ranges of 9 – 25 yrs. This program will use boxing and martial arts (B&MA) to engage vulnerable young people living in insecure and unsafe housing in the informal settlement of Kibera in Nairobi, to improve physical and mental well-being, increase opportunities in education, employment and reduce youth involvement in crime and violence through a holistic package of personal development, education and employability support.

FUNDRAISING IN THE UAE:

Gulf for Good, is a not-for-profit charity, whose purpose is to change the lives of underprivileged children around the world. The breakdown of how donations are distributed are as follows:

- 75% of funds raised go to Kilimanjaro Initiative 

- 15% of funds raised go to Gulf for Good (not-for-profit in the UAE and registered UK charity) for their sustainability

- 10% of funds raised go to International Humanitarian City for their emergency response work
