GULF FOR GOOD

CHARITY CHALLENGE - CYCLE NAMIBIA

4th to 10th November 2023

CHALLENGE:
Gulf for Good challengers will take part in a Charity Challenge cycling across the beautiful landscape of Namibia, raising funds for Physically Active Youth.

CHARITY PROJECT:
Physically Active Youth (PAY) change lives through cycling, digital literacy and robotics.

PAY provides a safe and supportive environment where young people voluntarily participate and progress in a range of activities that contribute to their holistic development comprising of physical wellbeing, education and life skills. In so doing, PAY works towards building the fundamentals of citizenship and respect for human rights while fostering a sense of mutual responsibility for the benefit of the community, at both local and national levels. PAY’s mission is to nurture the holistic development of Namibian youth, develop their critical reasoning skills and inculcate movement as lifestyle.

All funds raised on this Charity Challenge will go towards strengthening the cycling, digital literacy and robotics project at PAY, while also extending it to reach the Orange Babies Centre in Agste Laan where PAY has had a 'Football 4 Life' skills project in place since 2021.

FUNDRAISING:
Each participant is tasked with raising a minimum of AED5,000 to support this project and, together, change the lives of these children and families.

This challenge is held in association with local not-for-profit Gulf for Good, whose purpose is to change the lives of underprivileged children around the world.

The breakdown of how donations are distributed are as follows:

- 75% of funds raised go to the Physically Active Youth
- 15% of funds raised go to Gulf for Good (not-for-profit in the UAE and registered UK charity) for their sustainability
- 10% of funds raised go to International Humanitarian City for their emergency response work

#Update
  1. Last year, 31 incredible humans helped me raise over 10,000 AED for children in Malawi. This year, I'm pushing my limits with a 7-day cycling adventure ?‍♂️ in Namibia with Gulf for Good. My goal is to raise 15,000 AED to support Physically Active Youth Namibia, dedicated to changing the lives of children through education.
Help me reach this goal by donating!  Thank you for your incredible support!
