Steps For Gaza is about coming together and turning a challenge into meaningful action for children in Gaza. Through a series of challenging hikes across the UAE, we are creating a community where every person can contribute, whether through their time, effort, fundraising or simply taking part.

Throughout the winter break, we will take on different hiking routes across the UAE, with every kilometre and every climb bringing us closer to our fundraising goal. The funds raised will support Gulf for Good’s Orphan Care for Gaza Children campaign, helping provide essential care, protection and support for vulnerable and orphaned children in Gaza.

This isn’t just about one person completing a hike. Every person who joins becomes part of the cause. By taking on the challenge, bringing others along, fundraising or sharing the campaign, each member has the opportunity to make a real contribution. Together, our individual efforts can become something much bigger.

We are inviting experienced hikers and those who are comfortable taking on a challenging hike to join us. You can take part in one hike or the full series — whatever your involvement, your presence and effort will help strengthen the campaign and raise awareness for the children we are supporting.

Orphan Care Gaza

The Orphan Care Gaza project aims to bring hope and stability to children who have lost their parents in the ongoing crisis. We are partnering with Taawon (Welfare Association) to fund and support orphaned children in Gaza.

Each child will receive comprehensive care, including:

Nutritious food and clothing

Access to healthcare and education

Psychosocial and trauma support to help them rebuild their lives

This initiative is delivered through Taawon’s Noor Orphan Care Program, a trusted and well-established system that provides real-time transparency via the Noor Digital Portal. Donors will be able to track the progress and impact of their support through regular updates from Taawon and Gulf for Good.

With your contribution, we can ensure that each child receives annual care — giving them not only the essentials for survival, but also the tools and emotional support to thrive.

FUNDRAISING

This challenge is held in association with Gulf for Good, a UAE-based not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged children and communities worldwide.

The breakdown of how donations are distributed is as follows:

75% of funds raised go directly to Taawon (Welfare Association) to fund and support orphaned children in Gaza.

15% of funds raised go to Gulf for Good, supporting their ongoing efforts to deliver impactful charitable projects.

10% of funds raised go to Dubai Humanitarian for their emergency response initiatives.
