Story

Breast cancer affects millions of women every year and 1 in 8 women will hear the words "It's cancer" in their lifetime.

Let's get together for THE PINK RIBBON HIKE, to support Al Jalila Foundation’s annual #PINKtober campaign in partnership with Brest Friends.

WADI SHOWKA DAM 
(Park and meet - Wadi Shawka Dam Park (google maps)

6 AM  - Arrive and Park at Wadi Shawka Dam Parking

6:15 AM - Experience the Power of Breathing with Benoit

6:30-6:45 AM - Start the Hike

AED 100 (minimum) per adult hiker, Kids below 13 are free. 

All proceeds will go to Al Jalila Foundation to support Breast Cancer Treatment and Research. 

About The Hike: 

Its a beginner hike with 6 Km loop, you can do as much as you can. They are some exit points and we got some trail leaders on the trail. Some short incline. Approx duration time from start to finish the hike is  3-3:30 hours. 

What to bring:

1. Small backpack

2. 2-3 liters water

3. Snacks: Orange/apple/nuts/energy bar/pokari (choices)

4. Dry-fit t-shirt with hiking pants / shorts / tights

5. Sunglass / Hat / Sunscreen

6. Good pair of trainers or hiking boots

7. Yoga mat for breathing session
